Financial Assistance

At BGC Dawson we provide safe, supportive places where every community member can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life. We welcome everyone in a safe, accepting environment based on belonging and positive relationships. And we believe that begins by breaking down barriers and promoting access for all. 

 

We want to support engagement, facilitate participation and foster community through sports, recreation and learning for as many families, children, youth and seniors as possible. That’s why, beginning in Spring 2024, we are proud to launch BGC Dawson’s Financial Assistance Program.

 

Through a simple process (one form and supporting documents) applicants will qualify for a 25%, 50% or 75% discount rate applicable on membership fees and most programs and services, (including afterschool and camps) valid for all household members, for a year from the date of approval. The financial situation assessment will be made based on a holistic look at household income and expenses and follow a table adjusted to inflation, available upon request.
