A warm, welcoming space where young children and their families can grow and thrive.

Our Early Childhood Education programs offer age-specific, play-based learning, parent-child activities, and opportunities for community connection. Programs like Little Learners focus on supporting cognitive, motor, and social development while building school readiness, while Busy Frogs provides a space for young children to gain social independence and for parents to enjoy their own social time.

Families benefit from over 300 hours of in-person programming, respite services, and strong support networks, strengthened by partnerships with local organizations like Table de Famille and CHSSN Bright Beginnings.

Every Child Belongs with Opportunity Changes Everything.

The Children’s Programs offer after-school and Saturday recreational activities, along with seasonal Spring and Summer Camps, all designed with today’s child in mind.

School-year activities focus on providing a balance of interactive group games, homework support, and social-emotional development opportunities, while giving children the space to relax, connect with friends, and simply enjoy being kids.

Summer Camp takes the experience outdoors with a fast-paced, Verdun-based program where campers enjoy everything the Children’s Programs have to offer, combined with the beauty and energy of Verdun’s parks, pools, and community spaces.

For youth, by youth, with youth.

A space where young people grow, lead, and shape their future.

Our Youth Programs support preteens, teens, and young adults with opportunities to lead, learn, and engage in their community. Our activities are designed to meet the evolving needs of young people through leadership, engagement, and community care. We prioritize youth voices in decision-making and foster meaningful opportunities for growth. Programs like Youth Council, Young Leaders, Lead Up, and Learn On help youth build confidence, gain skills, and take action in their communities. From local advocacy to national forums, BGC Dawson youth are making a difference—one project, one conversation, one leader at a time.

Active, Connected, and Thriving

Community, wellness, and lifelong learning for older adults.

The Seniors Program at BGC Dawson offers a vibrant schedule of health, recreation, and social connection. Members enjoy yoga, fitness classes, discussion groups, digital literacy, and workshops on topics like aging in place and cognitive health. A member-led Seniors Committee shapes the direction of our offerings—introducing new activities like Toning and Pickleball. With 145 members and counting, the program breaks isolation and builds a true sense of belonging.
